June 30, 2011-Today was an exciting day of competition. Aqua Girl started out the day with a 50 meter backstroke relay. In the preliminary, a great swimmer from Canada came in first. In the final heat, though, Aqua Girl won the race by 16/100 of a second. A secondary timer was used to determine who won the race, it was so close.
In the afternoon, Aqua Girl's relay team won a gold medal in the 4 x 50 medley relay; Aqua Girl swam the backstroke. A second Team USA relay team earned a bronze medal. It was a great day for Team USA.
